Blind Obsession

AMAZING!!!!!!This story is haunting and heartbreaking but yet very erotic and I was sucked in!!

Blind Obsession was unlike anything I have ever read!!!!
It was truly one of a kind. I find myself wanting to write out everything that happened, in every excruciating detail, just so I can make my point. You need to experience this book and I mean that in every sense of the word...

I really don't know how to start describing this book, apart from saying that you have to just read it to understand and appreciate it...
Gemma Harris is a journalist from the US, taking a trip around the world to France to interview a man that was once a well known and respected artist, but now spends his days secluded in his chatuea, away from the world. Phillipe Tibideau.
The point of this interview is to finally allow Phillipe to tell his side of the story. Explain to the world he isn't the monster they all paint him to be, instead he is a broken man living with grief and a crushing, all consuming guilt.

Phillipe is dark, mysterious, sexy, guarded, destroyed, and overpowering. He is at times controlled and other times out of control. But in the journal entries we see how he was with Chantel. He used to be loving, sweet, protective, obsessed, and vulnerable.

Life begins to imitate art as Gemma experiences what Chantel did. It is extremely sensual, addicting, passionate, and frustrating for her.
They both have feelings of doubt, guilt, lust and insecurity that affect them. And all along the mystery is still unknown and unfolding at a slow controlled pace. This book was incredibly sexy, intoxicating, raw, and passionate.
At times, they are desperate and frantic and at other times, they are cool and detached.

And what can I say about the sex scenes!!!!!!For me the sex scenes was amazing!!!There is passion!!!

The ending is not your typical ending. It's not the HEA one might hope for. But for me, any other ending would have been a tragedy itself. For me, this was the perfect ending to the story of Phillipe,Chantel and Gemma. ..

This book was amazing!!!
I don't know anymore who are the bad guys Luxen or Arum..

In my mind from the Lux series I thought Arum are the bad guys in the story!I never thought I'll like them and fall in love with one of them!
Hunter is the baddest and hottest bad boy.!!
He is not your typical hero...he's an ARUM one of the 'bad guys' and he has a big ego and also he is such an arrogant!!
But as you read the book, you can't help but fell in love with him..There is so much more to him..

"You're more than a weapon, Hunter. So much more."

Serena is another feisty character.I love that she never back down from Hunter's insults and words. She fights with him all the time and I honestly enjoyed every minute of it :D

I liked seeing how the Arum see the world. They are not all bad just as the Luxen are not all good.I always enjoy Jennifer Armentrout's writing style and character development.I loved getting both Serena and Hunter's Points of Views!!Jennifer made me love an Arum!!There was sarcastic humor and romantic suspense.I hope she adds more books to this series.Hunter has a couple of brothers that I would love to read more about!!!

Killing sarai

5 STARS

                                       Sarai
                                       Beautiful but defeated and damaged.

                              Victor
                          Can he be her savior?

Sarai is a 23 year old girl. She's been held as a captive for 9 years. She cant stand witnessing the rapping and the abusing anymore. She has to escape.Yet her only opportunity for a ticket to freedom is an American. He is a cold blooded murderer but given the circumstances she cant be picky so she sneaks into his car threatening him and she is praying that her plan has worked. However back in the compound she left behind her best friend , Lydia , an angry slut,Izel, and a furious -let's say- boyfriend , Javier. He is brutal and dangerous but he never treated her like the rest of the girls. Sarai always had more civil in comparison to the other captives. Maybe it was because of her beauty or maybe because she wasn’t really abducted.

FYI Sarai is not the innocent girl you might give her credit for.She can be dangerous when her life is being threatened but she doesn’t have the intention to her anyone.

Victor  has a strange and cold personality but he is her only protection.I liked him a lot not because of his blue-green eyes(yeah maybe that too) but because he is smart and very cautious. I would love to know why he is helping her in first place. In that way he is risking everything and he betrays everyone. Nevertheless he is genius and his plans always work.

Well now that we all now how Sarai grew up,it has only left to wonder how she will fit into the society again. She is not normal and she will never be.She is a person that can manipulate the others and I have to tell that she is a perfect actress.

This is a story of
life

love

trust

and betrayal.

Part of me was so relived with the ending.I thought that everything was over but unfortunately nothing is over yet.

I loved this book a lot.Their relationship is not your typical love story. It wasn’t even clear if it was love or not.I have to admit that the author's writing style is absolutely amazing.Everything is so detailed and beautiful written.Nothing that you can predict will happen. This is a book that I'd definitely recommend , not only to those who love captive stories but to everyone.

Wait for you

After reading this book I dont think that cookies and eggs will be the same for me.

Avery

Avery is starting college but all she wants is to start a new life.
Just consider how lucky she is.
She is living next to a HOTTIE.

Cam

They are both attending astronomy and that brings them closer.

Cam is determined to go out with her so he is asking her everyday but she is always turning him down.

"Go out with me Avery."
"No".
"See?She keeps turning me down."
Jacob shook his head
"You're an idiot Avery."

He wants to be close with her so every Sunday he sneaks into her home to make her breakfast.
Ususally their breakfast is such a funny time and they are both enjoying it.

“I'm beginning to think cookies is a code word for something else."

"Maybe it is." He tugged on my bag again as he took a confident step back, forcing me down another step. "And just think about it. If cookie was a code word, whatever it symbolizes, it's been in your mouth, sweetheart.”

As you all understand she fell for him and they finally went on a date.

Cam's kisses

“Goodnight, Avery.”

And then he kissed me—kissed me like he’d had right before he’d left the night of our date. Kissed me like he was a man starving for oxygen and I was the only air he needed to breathe. The hand around my neck held me there, raised up on my elbows as his mouth devoured mine. And that was the only word I could use to accurately explained how he kissed me.

Cam devoured me.”

This book was so funny but both of them were hiding a past.
A past that they wanted to forget.

It was pretty obvious what happened to Avery and I was very sad because she didnt deserve it.
No one does.
It kind of hit me when Cam told her what he did.

Why I loved Cam :
He is charming and hot. He is not your typical jerk but nice and funny. He definitely has panty dropping eyes and he is that guy that you'd be proud to bring home.

What I really loved about him?
His comfidence.

" So you guys weren't more than just friends with benefits?"
Cam sent me a widening glance.
"We hooked up once in a while but like I told you this weekend, I haven't been with anyone since I met you."
"I know. It just seemed like she wanted more."
"Wouldn't you?"
"Geez we really need to work on your confidence"

Why I loved Avery:
She is sweet and innocent .She isn't clueless , she is smart and knows how to hide her emotions.

Cam's parents were amazing and funny people.
“You listen here, woman.”
“You can listen to my foot up your ass if you call me woman again.”

Avery's parents were .....
"You are lying."
"You are ruinning our lives."

All in all, this was a perfect read for me.
This book combined both humor and real life problems.

Seduced in the dark

                                                                      5 STARS

“I've been doing this a long time- manipulating people to get my way. That's why you think you love me. Because I've broken you down and built you back up to believe it. It wasn't an accident. Once you leave this behind..... you'll see that. -Caleb”

After all these is it possible for her to move on?

Is he a monster?

“Once upon a time, Caleb held me captive in the dark, now he used it to seduce me.”
Olivia

“She kisses my scars and I create new ones for her.”
Caleb

In this book Livvie has managed to escape from Caleb and she is safe at a hospital. She has to tell Reed what happened , in order to find the auction and stop these awful people . She also has to tell Dr Sloan ,so she can help her recover and the story starts.

Then
Caleb took her at Felipe's estate and there he showed Rafiq their slave's progress . Rafiq was not satisfied with Livvie but Caleb tried to reassure him that she would be improved .
From the moment that he saved her from the bikers Caleb was treating her more gently than he should and they came closer to each other.

I was relieved that Caleb didnt hurt her anymore but the book started becoming darker at Felipe's party.
Felipe's slave , Celia , entertained them a lot by torturing Kid.

Caleb's emotions were changing all the time.
During the day he liked to be called Master, he liked to treat her like a slave but only when the others were around.
During the night he was comforting and kind .

This whole situation led them to develop what they had.

Mine.
Mine.
Mine.

And then that bastard ,Felipe , ruined everything.

Caleb was being manipulated so he did things that frustrated me a lot.

“Dealing with Caleb was all about perspective. You couldn’t appreciate his kindness until you’d felt his cruelty.”

My emotions towards Caleb and other characters of the story.

However Livvie didnt give up on him.Her plan to seduce him worked but she fell for him as well.Caleb admited only that he cared for her because monsters cant love.

They would sell her but Felipe (thanks god!) talked to Caleb about his past and what really happened to him.

I couldnt believe what I was reading.

Present
Livvie is free now but she cant forget what happened to her but mostly Caleb. He is haunting her thoughts and that's driving her crazy.
She needs help because according to everyone that isnt healthy.
She is still in love with Caleb but that's not happening because she is suffering from Stockholm sydrom.
Caleb was the only one who cared about her in his unique and twisted way.Livvie grew up without love and yet she managed to be loved by him.

Livvie:I really admire her.Maybe she is crying all the time but try to put yourself in her shoes. What she'd been through wasnt easy. The way that he loved her wasnt fair.Despite all the difficulties she managed to stay on her feet and move on.

Caleb:He is not prince charming , he never was but he wished he could be for her.He wished he could be her hero.He saved her life once but he keeps putting her in danger again and he hates himself for doing it.According to him monsters cant love and Livvie gave him a present he didnt deserve.

“Tell me you love me, Caleb," I whispered.
He kissed me, refusing. "I wish I could, Kitten”

I never thought that I would like a book character like Caleb. He is awful and sometimes I wanted to kill him but he was fucked up. Still that doesnt justify his awful actions but reading the epilogue I understood many things about him.

The last chapter and the epilogue.
I never thought that I would cry so much with this book.I was a sobbing mess and hate it when it's happening.

All started when Caleb said:
"I love you Livvie."
He put the key in the ignitation and drove away.

“Live for me, Kitten. Be all those things you'd never be with me. Go to school. Meet a normal boy and fall in love. Forgive me. It's time for you to go, Kitten. Time for us both, to go.”

And then I think that I read the most beautiful epilogue all time.

Many people are judging this book and I totally understand them.
On the other hand I love this book because it delievers with its own way a few messages.
All of us should be gratefull that we have our freedom and no matter what happens we should stay strong and never break.
