Wow!Such a wonderful story!The situations, the emotions all felt so real!!This book is about regret.. This book make me think about life in general and how one decision can alter your entire life!!I love this book and their characters.I like the man Christian turned out to be.He know he make a huge mistake and he was prepared to do whatever it takes to make it right. 

“No longer would I live in regret, striving to make up for what I’d done. I’d live for the day, each one set out and purposed to be the best father and husband I could be. And no matter what life brought our way, I would never walk away."

And then there is Elizabeth.Whether you agree or not with her decisions you understand them!

Ms. Jackson did such a fabulous job with the characters!You can connect and really feel for them!

Such a lovely story!

I approached Ellison and we stood nose to nose and chest to chest because I’d walked up so close. She craned her neck to look up at me and I raised my hands to smooth down her arms. But I couldn’t touch her. I held my hands at her shoulders and I looked down at her longingly, but I just couldn’t push past the thin, invisible force that seemed to surround her. I didn’t want to be like Finn. I didn’t want to push myself on her when she was already upset about something else. It wasn’t fair to her. The energy from her body brushed across my palms and I felt twisted up inside because I couldn’t actually touch her.

She blinked slowly and the blue was shining in contrast with her red-rimmed eyes. I could smell the beer on her and she swayed slightly. “Please don’t, Hunter. Please don’t make this harder.” Her voice was a breathy whisper and I closed my eyes in reaction to it. I wanted to do more than touch her. I wanted to sweep her up in my arms and cradle her to me. I wanted to hold her until all the pain and worry left her body. I wanted to tell her I’d take care of her, I’d cherish her, I’d…that, in reality, I’d end up leaving her.

I’d never felt pain before like I did at that moment. It tore at me. Physical pain shot through my body and my chest tightened. But I pulled my hands back to myself. I protected her heart by not touching her.

For once, I was trying not to be the selfish bastard I knew I was.

This story starts off with a chance meeting between Tammy and Valiant… that was never meant to happen. Tammy finds herself in a sticky situation, at the wrong place and defiantly with the wrong person. Terrified of the huge male growling at her from his front yard, Tammy is frozen from fear with nowhere to go. That’s until he pounce and carries her off into his house.

Valiant is known for his hatred for humans. His mistreatment at the hands of humans has stayed with him long after his freedom. After spending so much time alone during his capture, because of his fierce and pronounced New Species looks, Valiant is ready to find a mate to fill his lonely days with companionship; preferably, with a tall and sturdy New Species female. All his plans go to hell the minute he smells Tammy, the very small and ovulating human. His instant attraction and need for her can’t be ignored. All he can think is MINE and I have to keep her forever.

He's spent a lifetime locked in a dank cell, hurting most of the time, and always so lonely.

Tammy can’t help her attraction for Valiant. His huge, bossy and highly protective, but she’s not a push over that can be forced to do anything against her will. With her stubbornness and need to fill her every breath with blabbering, Tammy has the fierce Valiant wrapped around her little finger. But even with her growing feelings for Valiant, Tammy is hesitant to commit this beautiful and compassionate man, who is looking for a forever kind of relationship.

"Open up for me. I need that at least. Your scent calls to me so strongly I hurt. Let me lick you until you come, screaming for me. Let me enjoy your cream." He purred.

I did feel that the relationship and story line was tad rushed throughout the story, but things slowed down to an even pace after half way through. That’s when things really picked up and my mind was blown away. I felt emotional at parts where Tammy and Valiant were separated; and anxiety when the characters faced grave dangers, at the hands of New Species hate groups. I won’t give away anything away, but I do advise to read these books as a series, even though it’s mentioned that they can be read as standalone reads. Things just get better and fucking awesomely better as you read each book.

Mates jump in head first with this sexy, passionate and panty wetting series. You won’t regret it xx

I'm so glad I didn't have to wait so long for Justice's book. His the type of character you love immediately from book one and wish for his book above all else. And I was not disappointed with his story!

Justice North, NSO leader, has big responsibilities towards his people. He was chosen by his people to lead, protect and bring them justice, for all they've been handed from the hands of Mercile industries. His calm and poised in the public's eye, appearing non threatening to win the human's hearts. That's until he meets the fiery redhead Jessie, the only female that brings out his inner, animal purr.

"What are you thinking about doing that you'll regret?" His gaze searched hers and a long moment passed while he seemed to debate answering. "Touching you."

Jessie Dupree works with an assigned task force that helps NSO to retrieve their captured Gift females, still held by the men with past associations with Mercile. Jessie is stubborn and works hard at her job to help those females in need, even at the cost of her life. Thinking to share some work ideas with Justice, Jessie finds herself alone with the sexy Species male, with an urge to help him relax. Addicted to his touch and drawn to the man, Jessie is eager to continue their affair. But life isn't that simple for the leader of New Species.

"I've never been attracted to your kind before but I'm drawn to you in the worst way."

Their relationship seemed impossible, with so many difficult obstacles in the way. As a leader and the face of New Species, Justice has obligations and rules he must follow, to protect those he loves. It was heartbreaking to see him so torn up about his responsibilities and his need for Jessie. And her pain on feeling used and unwanted by someone that can never have her forever. I loved how strong and persistent Jessie was when giving Justice an ultimatum. She didn't give in and accept things half way, it was all or nothing for her.

I really enjoyed the flow of this book. The author keeps you intrigued and engaged from start to finish. And wanting more on the secondary characters featured in each book. I would have to say, Justice and Jessie are my favorite so far. I loved the build up of their relationship, and the love shared between these two strong and determined lovers.

Another successful New Species read, that won't disappoint. Go on mates, give this a try xx

I grabbed my purse and headed outside to go and buy lunch.  J was on the phone, but saw me come outside and signalled for me to wait.

“I’m going to buy lunch, J.  And I only get an hour so I don’t have time to wait for you,” I said, tersely.  He kept talking and scowled at me.  I turned and started to walk away from him, towards the cafe where I always bought lunch.

I could hear him muttering something into the phone and then he must have ended his call because he went silent.  Then, he barked, “Madison!”

The last thing I wanted to do was stop for him, but there was something in his tone; a ‘don’t fuck with me’ command.  So I stopped, and turned around to look at him.  Oh, my.  He was shitty. 

He stalked to where I was and got in my face.  “Why the fuck do you have to be so difficult about this?” He was fuming.

Well, I could see him, and raise him in his anger.  “Maybe it has something to do with the way Scott has gone about this.  And the fact that he sent you!”

He flinched.  It was only for a second, and most people wouldn’t have even noticed it.  But I knew J, and I saw it.  It surprised the fuck out of me.  “Well then, it looks like we’ve got some shit to sort out, babe, because I’m not going anywhere.”

“I don’t want to sort shit out with you.  That ship sailed two fucking years ago, J,” I spat.

He gripped my arm, pulling me closer, “No, it fucking didn’t,” he growled, eyes blazing, “And you can’t deny there’s still something here.  I feel it and I know you feel it too.”

I laughed.  No, actually, I cackled.  “You wanna fuck, J?  I can feel that, and, yeah, if you wanna go there, I’m all for it.  But don’t mistake my desire for your cock for anything else.”

I love it!!I loved everything about this book!!The story sucked me in immediately!This book is so intense!!There are so many feelings..passion,love and pain..

 Lila is a lawer who works for Law Holloway and Holloway...She is  a very complex character surrounded by sadness.Her childhood was bad.Her family  treated her very bad and she had to deal with physical abuse from her dad, her step brother and her step mom.Now she  has many issues and she still believes that no one loves her or no one will ever want her...Until Nathan walks into her job and life...

They have to work together.Nathan is gorgeous but also anti-social. They start to  hate each other in the begining but there is also sexual tension!One night they are working late and end up having sex.Lila thinks it was the best sex of her life while Nathan leaves her . He doesn’t want to have a relationship with her but they cant stay away from each other.Both characters are almost consumed by loneliness and while they know they should resist the attraction they feel towards each other, they cannot!

And sex becomes their way of expressing their feelings..

OMG the sex is really hot!!!And there are a lot of dirty, intense, hot sex scenes!!  Nathan is all about control and dirty talk.(In the begining it was a shock  for me some of the words Nathan used for sex but it was really hot and I love it :))) ) Lila loves it and they push each other to the limits enjoying every minute of it. 

"You're not going anywhere.You're going to watch me fuck you while you figure out why either of us matter.Why we feel like this when we're together.Suck it up and watch me take what's mine."

I really like the characters!Lila is so sweet!She gives Nathan all her love because she never got that from her family in her childhood and Nathan...mmm what can I say about him???I thought he was "normal" and I didn't expect him to be so broken!We may not know the full story of his past but we get glimpses into what has made him the way he is...and it's truly awful. I really like him and his dirty mouth!!!I need more of him!!!

OMG the end....

There is a cliffhanger!! 
I feel so happy that I have the next book because if I didn't have I don't know what I would have done!!
